Wexton Votes For ‘Messaging Bill’ Rather For Real Solutions To Combat COVID-19

Middleburg, VA – Today, Marine Veteran and Candidate for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District Rob Jones released the following statement after Rep. Jennifer Wexton voted for Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion bill that even the media called a ‘gamble’ and a “messaging bill”.  It is no surprise that Rep. Wexton tweeted she would vote for this ‘messaging bill’ as she was named the most partisan member of Virginia’s Congressional delegation this week by The Luger Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy .

“We need real solutions to combat COVID-19, not a $3 trillion liberal grab bag of extreme policy dreams that has not even had a hearing in any congressional committee.  This is what is wrong with the Nancy Pelosi run House, but for hyper-partisan Rep. Wexton it is par for the course as she was named the most partisan member of the Virginia Congressional Delegation this week.

“When I was serving as an active duty Marine, it was always a team effort to solve problems.  Unfortunately, Rep. Wexton is simply a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion ‘gamble’ and ‘messaging bill’.”
